AFC and Cell Church
What is Cell Church?
We (and many others) believe that cell church is the New Testament (biblical) way of establishing church by developing small Christian groups generally based in homes. We call these groups home groups (cells) and they would normally consist of between five to twelve people. Teaching, discipling and training is carried out in the home groups. The groups would meet together on Sunday for combined worship, praise and teaching.

The vision is to reach the unsaved by friendship and neighbourhood evangelism.

It has proved very successful in many countries, for example the Yoido Full Gospel Church, South Korea is built on cell principles and has several hundred thousand members!
Abergavenny Family Church and Home Cells
Home groups are geographically based in Abergavenny and the surrounding villages and countryside.

They contain between six and fourteen people and have a vision for reaching people for Christ in their own local areas.

Home groups are places where the needs of the members are met in small close units. Gifts are developed and the movement of the Holy Spirit is expected.

A whole church meeting takes place on Sunday mornings for praise and worship.
